Originally from Europe, I was drawn to the mountains of Colorado, especially Vail, because of the similarities the town has to some of my favorite Alpen Villages, such as Zermatt, St. Moritz, St. Anton, and Kitzbuhel. My husband being an avid skier and I enjoying the perfect summer weather, settled here over 13 years ago to raise our family. Over time, our children have become ski racers, mountain bikers, river rafters, fly fishers, and more. The safe pedestrian friendly city center has made raising our children here the perfect choice. From free public transportation to world class cuisine, there is nothing that Vail doesn’t have.
